Riding in the rain comes with its own set of challenges, but when done properly, it can still be safe. Riding a motorcycle in wet conditions is generally more hazardous than in dry weather for several reasons. First, reduced traction is a major concern—rainwater makes road surfaces slippery, decreasing the grip between tires and the pavement. This raises the risk of skidding, sliding, or losing control, especially during braking, accelerating, or cornering.
