Let's face it. Nobody wants to be in an accident, especially motorcyclist. This doesn't mean all accidents are the motorcyclist's fault, but we as motorcyclists pay the higher cost if we're involved in one. A lot of motorcycle accidents could have been prevented if the rider had just reacted properly.

I won't mention any names in order to protect the not so innocent. I was taught almost everything wrong when I learned how to ride a motorcycle. It wasn't their fault. They were only teaching me what they knew. One of the first sayings I was told was, "You're not a rider until you go down." That's bogus! Even after I went down, I still wasn't a rider. I was merely someone trying to learn from trial and era. Thank goodness for luck and someone watching over me.

As a student in the school of hard knocks, I've likely experienced every motorcycling mistake you could make. From the moment I first threw a leg over the seat of a motorcycle, I was thrust into a world filled with exhilarating highs and daunting lows. In discussing my adventures and errors, I'll share how I confronted certain challenges and managed to overcome them, transforming each misstep into a valuable lesson that contributed to my growth as a rider.

We all have intentions, aspirations, and plans that we hope to put into action, but do we always follow through with them as we initially intended? Of course, the answer is no, and this principle certainly applies to motorists as well. The unpredictability of human behavior behind the wheel can lead to situations that are not only confusing but potentially dangerous.
